Margo Louwerse, the owner and Administrator of Las Palmas is a Licensed Occupational Therapist and has 30 years experience working with the elderly. She has worked in a variety of settings in Sonoma County for the past 20 years, including 13 years at Spring Lake Village, in addition to Santa Rosa Memorial hospital, home health, and skilled nursing facilities.
As an Occupational Therapist I work with the elderly with the goal of maximizing their function so that they can "do" the things that are most important to them. I believe independence in recreational, social, educational and some physical activities of choice increases one's "quality" of life.
